Scope and Contents From the Collection:

This collection includes personal files, materials generally related to education in Hong Kong, and materials related to Sweeting’s time as a professor the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of History at the University of Hong Kong. There are also files relating to research he did for several publications, including two volumes on the history of education in Hong Kong, and drafts for these works. These files are the bulk of the collection.

Scope and Contents

A stitched binding book marked with the word "鄲城夏氏歡喜念佛齋自課本" (Dancheng Xia Huan Xi Nian Fo Convent Self-study Manual). The convent is suspected to be related to 夏繼泉 (Xia Jichuan).

Scope and Contents

Written by S. Radhakrishnan, translated by Hsü Ti-Shan. It is suspected that 周俟松 (wife of Hsü Ti-Shan) has edited part of the content as her name is added to the cover of the notebook as one of the translators. A page of calendar dated 28 Feb 1930 with word count of the tranlsated pages is attached to the file.
